Title = Characterization
of Linoleum. Part 3: Identification of Oxidative Emission Processes |
Abstract = Material
emissions may be derived partly from oxidation processes. Identified VOCs
may result from air oxidation of easily oxidized compounds in the material.
The emission from two identical linoleum samples placed under a flow of
air and a flow of nitrogen, respectively, was studied by use of The Field
and Laboratory Emission Cell, 'FLEC', with sampling on Tenax TA, followed
by thermal desorbtion and GC analysis. A change in the pattern of emitted
VOCs was analysed by principal components analysis (PCA). |
